Welcome to the Fundraising Page for the Walk For Nicole 2022. Nicole passed away after a 2 year battle with Ewing’s Sarcoma, a very rare form of cancer that when found in adults, has a very low survival rate. Nicole’s life was thrown upside down the day she was diagnosed, and her treatment, her illness, and cancer in general was a whole different world. Cancer treatment isn’t just chemo and get on with it. Every day there is a new curveball, a new battle that effects everyone. Watching Nicole battle and fight daily was inspiring, but also the hardest thing to watch, especially when you are helpless. We are raising awareness and funds for LYS, so a future can be created where no one has to go through what Nicole went through, and to reduce the impact a cancer diagnosis can have on a family. We are walking again, as everyday we want to continue the legacy Nicole created by inspiring us with how she fought right until the end. A big community event, let’s make this the biggest and best walk yet, and help fight the battle against cancer.

What a 6 weeks it has been! From the Fundraising BBQ to the amazing Aden shaving his head. From Lachlans performance at Sunday Road, to organizing Trivia and the walk, it has been amazing to continue to see the number going up. Lachlan and i will be doing some special things these next few weeks. Hope to keep you updated as much as we can. Bring on $25000 and Haydens Hair Cut

It is a few weeks late, but just to update everyone, we did end up shaving our heads a few weekends back. Unfortunately the mullet is no longer around as a barber shaved the whole thing off, but we both have buzz cuts for the time being. However, our hair will grow back, unlike too many undergoing treatment, so to everyone donating, thankyou. We have some exciting things to come.

The biggest thing that has happened has been this amazing woman cut off and donate her hair. All voluntary, and such an honorable thing to do. We still have so many things planned coming up, and we are so excited to spread this cause! Thankyou Kyla

This man, Noah Bailey, has said he will shave his amazing head of hair, if we are able to hit the target of $5000 by the end of July. Help us get there and give him a nice haircut :)
