Thanks for visiting my Fundraising Page for Legs Out for Lymphoma 2022!
We're getting our Legs Out for Lymphoma to support the 18 Aussies diagnosed with lymphoma every day. I was one of them.
It has been 15 months now since my Cancer diagnosis - Lymphoma of the bone and I am currently in remission. Looking back on my cancer journey it was, and is, a very difficult period of uncertainty, fatigue, hope, determination, and change. I had a wonderful support team, of which I am forever grateful.
Lymphoma is Australia’s #1 cancer for those aged between 15-29. It doesn’t discriminate and regardless of how young, fit, or healthy you are it can still occur.
We have committed to ride / row / walk / golf / paddle and generally stay active each day during the 4-13 March.
Active Team Targets:
- I will be cycling 500kms.
- Ben Cureton is cycling 1000kms
- Matt French is walking 100,000 steps & daily pilates
- Chris Reddin is walking 200,000 steps
- Cameron McKenzie McHarg is rowing 100kms on the ergo
- Lucy Hegerty is running/walking 50km on the treadmill
There are many ways to get involved.
- Set yourself a challenge, and share your own legs out images by posting #legsout4lymphoma
- Sponsor us and leave a message by selecting the donate button - you can donate to the group or an individual.
Any donations or efforts, no matter how small will help ensure that we spread the word, and help raise money for additional nurses support those faced with Lymphoma, so that nobody has to go through this journey alone.
Thank you for supporting our efforts in raising money for this cause!
All the best Frank from a rower and Lymphoma survivor
