OUR STORY The day I gave birth to Lilette, a beautiful gift was arranged for us by the hospital. The gift of photography. At a time like this, you are still completely in shock, you don't know what to do, you're making a million decisions that you never thought you'd have to make and to be honest, photography was the last thing on my mind. I had a newborn photographer ready for the hospital, she was waiting for my call, but after the news, I told her she no longer needed to come in. I thank the hospital every day for organising heartfelt to join us shortly after we welcomed Lilette. At the time, I don't think I really realised this would be the only 3 days we'd get to spend with her. That we'd only ever get one chance to take photographs with her. That our phones wouldn't be flooded with photographs of her growing up. That this moment, captured so beautifully, would be her only album. I treasure these photographs every day and this is why I would encourage you to donate to Heartfelt photography so that other families can receive the gift of photography.
