12 days to go until I tackle the Mighty Simpson Desert. So far the Traditional Owners Eagles and Ancestors have blessed me. We were granted a blessing on our first crossing and each time since I’ve asked the elders present past and future to watch over myself and the group so I’m sure this will hold true for another safe crossing. Thank you for the support everyone has shown. Especially during this past difficult 2020 and 2021 with restrictions and business struggles xx

This is me riding my motorbike in the middle of the Simpson Desert.
Looking alone, all by self, in a vast area without a sole around. Even though it may appear that you’re alone and you may feel like you’re by yourself and no one really cares, I want to let you know you never are alone.
Organisation’s like Dolly’s Dream are there to support people feeling lost, crappy or unsure about what to do. Reach out people, make a call and let someone know you just feel crappy.

Well Covid has border restrictions back in place. Let us not feel lost or defeated. Continue kindness to those around you, ask people how they are and if you’re able to offer any type of support do so.
Our ride is scheduled for end of September and I’ve been out riding the Madigan Line to practice.
