For organisations outside of Australia wishing to hold an Assembly Day please contact us on info@birthingkitfoundation.org.au

For organisations within Australia supplies are provided by the Birthing Kit Foundation (Aust). Instructions are then sent for the transport of the kits to their overseas destination.

What to do next

An Assembly Day Manual is available which contains clear instructions on how to run a successful Assembly Day. Please email supplies@birthingkitfoundation.org.au for a Manual to be sent to you.

You then need to contact our Supplies Officersupplies@birthingkitfoundation.org.au with the date of the impending Assembly Day - it is important to give the Supplies Officer 8 weeks notice.

Your financial contribution

The BKFA has always relied on the generosity of its supporters to help cover the cost of the supplies and transport of the kits. As the project has grown and developed over the years, the Foundation has recognised the importance of ensuring that changes to birthing practices are sustainable. By supporting training programs and the production of birthing kits at the local level, we hope to achieve the greatest success – that kits are readily available locally and no longer needed from us. We offer you the opportunity to assist with the delivery of sustainability initiatives, by fully funding the cost of the supplies and transport of the kits as well as funding training programs and in-country kit production.

$3 per kit donation: you will be fully funding the cost of supplies and transport of the kits and also contributing to sustainability projects. Kits can be assembled in multiples of 200 ($600). There is no limit on the number of kits available for a $3 donation.
