We are fundraising $30,000 to establish a PhD Scholarship at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute (WEHI) to support groundbreaking research into CACNA1A ataxia — a rare and complex genetic condition that deeply affects our 6-year-old daughter Elise in every aspect of her life. This scholarship is in Elise’s honour, and it is our hope that it will become an ongoing, annual initiative — supporting dedicated researchers year after year as they work toward better understanding, treatment, and ultimately, a cure.
