The Holocaust was one of the darkest chapters in human history, marked by unimaginable atrocities committed against 6 million Jewish people and 5 million other people. The Queensland Holocaust Museum is a tribute to those who suffered and died during this horrific time, preserving their memories and educating future generations about the dangers of hate, prejudice and intolerance.
Our vision is that by sharing the voices of survivors, the stories and heartbreak of the Holocaust and other genocides, we will inspire, educate and motivate Queenslanders and other visitors to stand up against intolerance, antisemitism, hatred, racism and indifference. We are intent on inspiring, educating and motivating Queenslanders and visitors to stand up against intolerance, antisemitism, hatred, racism and indifference and promote multiculturalism, acceptance and harmony.
The Queensland Holocaust Museum and Education Centre is a not-for-profit organisation that relies on public support for its ongoing operation. All donations are now tax deductible (Australia only).
By donating, you are helping to ensure that the legacy of those who perished, survived and saved lives, lives on.
