5years ago January 2026 we lost my Brother Adrian to Pancreatic cancer, it was brutal and un relenting. It took him from us with in weeks. The snap closure of the WA border in what was the Hight of The Covid nightmare prevented us from both going to say our last good buys, just as we we about to go and be with him. Also to be able at his memorial, But Adrian passed just the way he wanted to be at home amongst his works of art, he was an talent sort after sculptor with a lot of his work to be still seen in WA and around the World. So over the next 5moths I will be conducting a variety of challenges from how many Km can I rack up on my mobility scooter over 5 months Raffling one of my own art works and other events in memory of Adrian and so many others that I have lost to Brain cancer and Many other cancers and some are still fighting that fight today.

I will be donating all my hair on January 21st 2026 to Sustainable Salons, a fantastic organisation passionately dedicated to ensuring every strand goes to the right places, such as towards charitable wigmakers, charities such as the Australian Alopecia Areata foundation, cleaning oil spills and even making soil treatment! Additionally, all funds donated go directly towards the Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF), a foundation providing grants for state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and infrastructure. They are responsible for funding research into the HPV vaccine, which causes 90% of cervical cancer. Making Australia the first country to effectively eliminate their disease. Which is a relentless urge to pull my hair out, which left me feeling insecure and completely out of control in my own life. To overcome this, and out of a motivation to support causes that I feel are important to me. I decided to grow my hair to a point where I can donate it! Though the journey was incredibly tough and demanded more than just telling myself to stop,I’ve now grown all my hair back and it’s healthy and strong. <s>-------------------------------</s> I want to use this moment to remind myself that I should have been confident all along, even through the struggles. At the same time, I hope to support causes I deeply care about. Anything you can spare would mean the world, even just $1 can make a real difference and go toward a cause worth fighting for!
