Transcend Australia is a registered, community-led organisation providing peer navigation and peer support services, community support, education, resources and youth leadership opportunities for trans, gender diverse and non-binary young people, their parents, and carers. 

	 

	Our services are free for families and supported through donations, grants and partnerships. 

	 

	We offer non-judgemental, compassionate and evidence based information and support services to any family member who may have a trans, gender diverse or non-binary child or (trans) young person. 

	 

	Transcend Australia works to enhance protective factors that reduce the risk of poor mental health outcomes, homelessness, suicidality and marginalisation.

Hello my name is George I am a runner and a messy drunk, I want to quit alchohol and get back into my running, I will be going dry and trying to run 50km by/till July 4th in order to raise money for marginalised trans kids, it’s hard enough growing up in Australia and having a weird shaped head, imagine what it’s like to wear a dress in country town Australia, I think this is a good cause so I’m going to try my hardest 
All funds will be going to a non for profit called “transcend Australia” which helps trans kids and aids in gender affirming care 
And this is also a fun challenge for me, win, win
