Both of us have had family members diagnosed with cancer and ourselves have been affected by the black dog. we decided to get fit this year and thought the best way for us to achieve this is by doing the 75 Hard challenge which includes no alcohol and if any of you know us you will know we both love punishing a few pints of Guinness. We decided to raise some money for charity alongside out fitness challenge.

Hi my name is Michael Wilson and I’m 33 years old 

The 12th of April I’ve set myself a goal to run 100km’s around a 440 meter athletics track, in Bendigo this will be equal to 220 laps from lane 7 might mix laps up depending on how body traveling 

My goal is to raise money for Bowel Cancer as this is a cause that is near and dear to mine, and so many others hearts. 

After losing my beautiful Aunty Trisha to stage 4 bowel cancer in early 2024, I have felt the push to do what I can, to try to prevent other individuals and family’s to ever have to endure the same pain. Iv recently lost my Pa on the 21st of March 2025 pa was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer not that long ago. But his up in heaven now with my auntie 

The survival rate for stage 4 cancer is very low. And I know the pain I put myself through achieving this goal, will never be the same as what somebody battling cancer goes through.

I hope that what I’m doing can help make a difference, and help raise money for Bowel Cancer Australia.
