Scleroderma, or systemic sclerosis, is a chronic connective tissue disorder generally classified as one of the autoimmune rheumatic conditions. The cause of scleroderma is unknown.

	Scleroderma Victoria Incorporated began in 1979 to support people with Systemic Sclerosis.

	Our mission is to:

We are inviting you to join us in spreading a little sunshine - and hope - for everyone affected by Scleroderma, a rare autoimmune condition that currently has no cure. Scleroderma can be life-changing, impacting the skin, blood vessels, and internal organs. But together, we can help change that story. We are fundraising in memory of our dear friend and Paynesville neighbour Liz Walford, who was a sufferer of Scleroderma for 15 years. Sadly Liz succumbed to this disease in 2023.How you can help: This year we're selling Virtual Bunches of Sunflowers - the sunflower being the symbol of strength, warmth, and resilience for the Scleroderma community. Each virtual sunflower bunch you "buy" will directly fund vital research into better treatments and, ultimately, a cure for Scleroderma.
