Road Trauma Support Services Victoria is a not for profit organisation contributing to the safety and wellbeing of road users.
We provide counselling and support to people affected by road trauma, and address attitudes and behaviours of road users thought education.
Our specialist counselling, information and support services reach over 3,000 Victorians each year. These services are free and available to anyone that has been impacted by road trauma including; family, friends, work colleagues and witnesses.
We are committed to educating the community and raising public awareness about road trauma and how it affects people’s lives. Our education programs reach more than 2,000 people each year and are supported by the Magistrates' Court of Victoria and Victoria Police. Volunteers who share their personal stories about road trauma play a critical role in these programs.
No one should have to suffer the devastating impacts of road trauma and Shine a Light on Road Safety is our campaign to raise awareness, to stop deaths and injuries on our roads and to raise funds to support those impacted.
Road trauma can impact anyone at any time and each dollar donated helps us provide vital information and support. Our total annual budget is just over $1 million and we reinvest all funds in our programs and work hard to make sure that the resources entrusted to us are used as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Donations of $2.00 or more are tax deductible.
