SisterWorks is a not-for-profit social enterprise that supports women who are migrants, asylum seekers or refugees to become financially empowered and happily settled in Australia.

These women are some of the community’s most vulnerable and disadvantaged newcomers. They face social isolation, domestic violence, long-term unemployment and dependence on government welfare.

SisterWorks firmly believes that “Work Empowers Women” and our programs support our Sisters to develop practical skills such as IT literacy, business, leadership, teamwork and entrepreneurship.

These skills are developed in our Empowerment Hubs. They are located in Richmond, Bendigo and Dandenong. Our hubs are safe and nurturing spaces where the Sisters "learn by doing", share knowledge and support each other as they grow.
