Little Wonder for RPA Newborn Care (SLHD)

Little Wonder is the Parents' Fundraising and Support Committee for the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital's (RPA) Newborn Intesive Care Unit in Sydney, which provides the highest level of neonatal care available in Australia.

RPA Newborn Care looks after more than 950 sick and premature babies each year and not only do they provide intensive care services for babies born at RPA but also for babies transferred from hospitals that don’t have the same high level of intensive care facilities.

 

Founded in 2009 by a group of mums who had experienced firsthand the incredible work of RPA Newborn Care, Little Wonder was born. Our committee is dedicated to give back to the unit that saved our babies and allowed them to prosper. With the support of family and friends and in partnership with RPA staff, we raise funds to support the unit as well as the parents/carers of the babies through various programs. We are very proud to be recognised by the hospital as an official fundraiser.
