STEPS Autism Treehouse builds community and connects Sunshine Coast families, children and young people living with autism.
We provide support to our community with access to resources, life skills programs, education and regular social events.
We are focussed on creating opportunities for young people living with autism and their families to enjoy life to the full and develop meaningful connections with our community.
Key to the success of our services is listening to families to understand what their needs are as they navigate school, social situations and relationships, as well as continual changes to technology, awareness, policy and funding.
STEPS Autism Treehouse raises funds for projects with no available government funding and provides support for people who may have been left to fall between the gaps of various support programs.
We continue to listen to the community and are constantly evolving and changing our services so that we can fill the gaps and meet the needs of the community. We bring a range of health professionals and autism experts to speak at workshops, seminars
and presentations throughout the year to help connect families and professionals with the latest information.
We also provide NDIS Support coordination officers for the Sunshine Coast and Bundaberg regions. Our services are available to everyone, not just those connected to NDIS funding.
