The Fig Tree Children is a Brisbane based charity founded by Jane Shakespeare to raise awareness and funding to support programs in Sierra Leone specifically for the benefit of orphaned and vulnerable children and youths. There are over 12,000 orphaned children in Sierra Leone and The Fig Tree Children is helping each of them 'one child at a time'.
