Crohn’s & Colitis Australia (CCA) is a national not-for-profit organisation playing a leading role in driving change to support Australians living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, collectively known as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and for which there is no known cure.

For 35 years, CCA has been helping make life more liveable for Australians living with IBD and is dedicated to empowering people to live life at full potential as we search for a cause or cure for Crohn’s and colitis.

IBD’s often start in children, adolescents and early adulthood. However, these serious gut diseases can present at any age, and are lifelong, serious illnesses. More than 85,000 Australians live with these diseases, with numbers expected to increase to more than 100,000 by 2022.

CCA works with the whole IBD community which includes people living with IBD’s along with their health care professionals and family and friends who support them.

Please note that donations over $200 are normally acknowledged in our magazine and annual report. Please advise us if you do not wish your donation to be publicly acknowledged by phoning us on 1800 138 029 or email tim@crohnsandcolitis.com.au.
