The Hospital Research Foundation’s key role is to support the world-leading medical and health research conducted at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (TQEH) and the Basil Hetzel Institute for Translational Health Research (BHI) to improve the health of our community.
Together, TQEH and BHI have forged a global reputation for innovation and excellence for ‘bench to bedside’ research where laboratory breakthroughs are quickly translated into improved patient care and treatment options.
The Hospital Research Foundation supports medical research through Major Program Grants, Research Grants the purchase of laboratory equipment and by providing financial support and scholarships to Postgraduate, Honours and vacation research students.
