As part of the UnitingCare family, St Stephen’s Hospital is a non-for-profit private hospital owned by the Uniting Church and has been serving the Fraser Coast community since 1946. St Stephen's is the only not-for-profit private acute hospital facility in the Fraser Coast area.

With the introduction of five new services at St Stephen’s in 2016; including Rehabilitation as well as Women’s Health, Cardiac, Mental Health and Neurology, even more Fraser Coast patients can now access high quality care close to home without travelling long distances.

St Stephen’s is a not-for-profit hospital and a charitable organisation. Unlike many other ‘private’ hospitals, as a not-for-profit, any surplus that we generate, or gifts that we receive from our donors and supporters, is invested directly into making our services better for our patients.
