Pets of the Homeless is a charity aimed at raising awareness and providing support to the companion animals of those facing homelessness. We assist by feeding and providing veterinary care to the animals to help relieve the heartache for those who are unable to care for their pets.

Hi, it’s Suzanne! I’m about to defend my PhD after five long years and want to commemorate this moment by doing something a little crazy (shaving my head!) and fundraise for some amazing charities in the process. Will donate the hair too, of course! Since my PhD project was on animal welfare, the obvious choice was to choose charities that do amazing work to help animals. 1. Pets Of The Homeless is a charity that works to help keep vulnerable people and their pets together by alleviating the burden of providing essential pet care. The funds raised will help provide much needed pet food, access to veterinary care and a safe shelter to pets in need.
