The Malki Foundation was founded in 2001 in honour of Melbourne born Mallki Roth, murdered in a terrorist attack in the heart of Jerusalem at age 15.

The Malki Foundation empowers families of children with severe disabilities in Israel to care for their children at home. Given the proper care, children with disabilities can learn to sit up, walk, feed themselves and enjoy a greater quality of life. The government agencies that were created to help the families, often reject their requests for the therapies that their children so badly need. The Malki Foundation pays for the therapy and equipment in order to release the pressure that often leads to parents sending their child to an institution. Global research shows that institutional care, as important and indispensable as it can be, almost always has some negative effects on the child and the family. In some cases, we even pay for a therapist to travel to the child's home. We fund these services via donations and grants. Please consider supporting the Malki Foundation today. Any size donation will have an impact on a child's life.
