Breast Cancer Care WA provides specialist breast care nursing, counselling and financial support to all West Australian women and men (and their families) affected by a breast cancer diagnosis and these services are provided free of charge.

	 

	As a not for profit organisation that receives no government funding, we rely on the generous fundraising efforts of the WA community to assist us to provide our support services.

On October 25th, I will be taking on a full solo marathon, running from Coogee to Mount Claremont and back, to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer care WA.

Breast cancer has affected the lives of multiple families and friends at Samson Primary School, as well as many more in our wider community. This run is for them.

I can’t truly imagine the time, effort, and the mental and physical battles that come with facing this disease, but I can show that I will fight alongside you. Every step I take will be in solidarity with those who are fighting, those who have fought, and those we remember.

In the lead-up to the marathon, I’ll be sharing my training progress on Strava so you can follow the journey right up until the big day.
