The mission and purpose of Mi-Link is encapsulated by the vision statement “enhancing communities…globally”. Mi-Link aims to support the needs of marginalised communities, orphans, tribal villages, the poor, destitute and widows. Since its inception in 1988, Mi-Link has been able to demonstrate its vision with a number of projects in developing countries throughout Africa and Asia, which have included establishing orphanages and schools, as well as drilling wells, constructing village toilets, and providing medical supplies.
We are currently working on a number of village projects in India to provide clean drinking water by drilling deep core wells, and are also involved in the establishment of orphanages, schools, the construction of village toilets, and running sewing machine schools for local women.
Mi-Link also partners with and provides support for other NGO’s (non-governmental organisation). By partnering with Mi-Link, organisations have attained DGR status (tax deductibility) for specific projects in developing countries that are compliant with the Overseas Aid Gift Deduction Scheme Guidelines.
Mi-Link is a not-for-profit association registered with the Australian Tax Office as a charity, and is based in Victoria, Australia.
