I’m raising money for Parkinson’s research for a reason that’s incredibly close to my heart, my Granda is living with Parkinson’s.
It’s hard to put into words how heartbreaking it is to watch someone you love slowly change because of this disease. To see pieces of the person you adore taken away bit by bit. My Granda is one of my favourite people on this earth, and every memory I have with him is full of laughter, warmth, and happiness. He deserves so much more than what Parkinson’s has taken from him.
From today until April 11 (World Parkinson’s Day), I’m pushing myself to help make a difference:
👉 20 squats every day, adding one extra squat each day
(no matter how tired I am, or how busy life gets)
On April 11, to mark World Parkinson’s Day, I’ll also be doing an ice bath 🥶 - uncomfortable, but nothing compared to what so many people live with every day.
If you have challenge ideas you’d like to throw my way, I’m open (within reason 😅). If it helps raise money and awareness, I’ll do it - as long as you donate 💙
I’m also planning to organise something else before April to raise even more funds.
