RizeUp Australia is a community-driven organisation of passionate men and women, dedicated to supporting the brave families affected by domestic and family violence.

WHAT DOES RIZEUP DO?

RizeUp is a national force for change, working hand in hand with frontline specialist agencies and communities to deliver tangible, life-transforming support for individuals and families escaping domestic and family violence. Our mission extends beyond raising awareness—we take action, providing practical solutions that offer hope and the opportunity to rebuild, and thrive, free from violence.

Since our founding in 2015 by CEO Nicolle Edwards, RizeUp has been at the forefront of innovation in domestic and family violence recovery. With a passionate and diverse team, we collaborate with leading support services to extend the reach of our initiatives, ensuring that individuals and families in crisis receive the resources they need to create a fresh start. We are relentless in our pursuit of a society where domestic and family violence is not only understood but actively challenged, where victim-survivors are supported, and where communities rise together to break the cycle for good.

RAPID RESPONSE

Designed to meet the diverse needs of families fleeing domestic violence (this could include food, blankets, urgent funds, etc.) quickly and efficiently.

HOMES PROGRAM

When families leave a refuge, they are given a barren property, which we transform into a purposefully-created home specific to their individual needs.

YOUTH ENRICHMENT SUPPORT SOLUTIONS

We support the family by providing items for children to start at their new school – uniforms, hair cuts, extra curricular activities, fees, lunch boxes, books and bags.
