Hutt St Centre

Each month Hutt St Centre supports 850 people at risk of or experiencing homelessness.

We walk alongside people on their journey to homefulness - a word we use to describe the feeling of safety, control and confidence that comes with having a place you want to call home.

When people first walk through our doors, we help them to address their immediate needs, like a hot shower, a warm meal, a change of clothes or even a phone recharge. We then wrap our 20+ visiting services around each client to provide support ranging from medical check-ups to financial counselling.

And with a focus on the future, we connect people with housing, education and employment opportunities to build the skills and confidence to change their circumstances for good. 

These essential primary care services continue to be funded by the generosity of our incredible donors, corporate supporters, service partners, fundraising initiatives and the community.
