I Give A Buck Foundation

We’re a children’s charity like no other. 100% of your donation goes to the kids. Our admin costs are covered by the business community and other fund raising.

 

We ask you to give just $1, a buck, that’s it. A little from many is all it takes, to change kids’ lives.

 

The kids we help all suffer from a life-threatening or life-changing illness or condition. We believe that every child in Australia deserves to experience joy and to live with dignity. Need our help?

 

Our Vision

To directly relieve the childhood suffering of children in Australia from financially disadvantaged homes who suffer from severe illnesses and disabilities – with a particular emphasis on terminally ill children being cared for at home.

 

Our Mission

That many thousands of individuals unite to form an active and caring community. That they use their community spirit to do all that they can to ensure that children who suffer from life-threatening or life-changing conditions may live in comfort. We believe that every child deserves to experience joy and to live with dignity.

 

Our Values

Caring – We value a culture of caring, co-operation, and consideration within our IGAB Community to enable us to face challenges with courage and confidence. If we dream together, plan together and make things happen together we will celebrate the joy of achievement together.

We care about the children who need our support. We care enough to ask every question, to make every call, to make every effort, to do all that we can and then some – to support the children who need us most.

 

Sharing – We promote working with other not-for-profit organisations, when collaboration achieves the best results and minimises costs. If we share our ideas and our skills we will be sharing not just information but a common goal – the desire to make positive change.

Integrity – We insist on transparency and publish our plans, results and financial reports. Our honesty and sincerity will underpin our success;

We must earn the trust of our supporters by showing integrity in all that we do. We promise to do what we say and say what we do – always.

 

Our Community

By providing donors with the ability to see exactly who they are helping and how, and giving them confidence that 100% of their donation goes to the children they choose to help, our work has enormous appeal to donors, and has helped us to enjoy steady growth since our inception.

It’s all about the numbers. More members = more donations = more children we can help. Simple as that.
