In honour of Annie's memory, her immediate family Angela, Henry and Huon, and extended families, would ask that any show of condolence or bereavement be shared as donation to research. 

Flowers will be gone in a week, but giving flower equivalent contributes to helping other young lives avoid the trauma that took Annie too soon.

Annie faced her journey with admirable courage, dignity and strength. Annie’s great hope was that other young women would not lose their lives to this particularly aggressive sub-type of breast cancer, through more trials, more research and more knowledge, which she herself contributed to in her own treatment options.

If you are considering donating flowers, please instead ‘pay it forward’ with donation to treatment research that will benefit other young women diagnosed with this particularly insidious cancer, triple negative breast cancer.

By contributing, your effort will continue Annie’s legacy and support research to improve life expectancy of other young lives diagnosed with this very aggressive cancer.

Triple negative breast cancer occurs frequently in young women, is more aggressive, stealthy and stressful compared to more commonly understood hormone receptor positive breast cancer types. 

Annie will be thankful for every other young life she may have helped, which your show of care will contribute to.
