Hey Everyone. As some of you may or may not know my dad was diagnosed with lung cancer in February 2012. He fought bravely for nearly 3 years but sadly passed away on the 25th of September this year. When dad was diagnosed I was 2 weeks away from swimming in the 2012 Rottnest swim but I decided to pull out. I also decided that I would grow my hair with the aim to shave it off for charity. Now on what will almost be 3 years to the day that dad was diagnosed, I will be swimming the 2015 Rottnest Swim in a team with 3 other mates and shaving my hair once we have completed the crossing. Any donation big or small would be greatly appreciated. All the proceeds will go to the Australian Cancer Research Foundation, which aims to create world class facilities for cancer research. We would like to contribute to research that assists people living with cancer to achieve the best care and treatment available.
