Our daughter Paisley was born still at just 23 weeks on the 30th of June 2012. Amidst our grief and heartache, we were incredibly fortunate to be given information about the wonderful Australian Charity "Heartfelt", an organisation who sends a professional photographer to the hospital or home to capture precious moments with stillborn or very ill babies and children. The photos that we have of Paisley are beautiful and are immeasurably treasured. You can read more about our experience with Heartfelt here:
This year, to celebrate Paisley's 2nd birthday, we've created "Purple for Paisley" day. We are asking everyone to wear purple in her honour and make a small donation, that will be donated to Heartfelt, to help more families receive the gift we did.
You can read more about Heartfelt here:

What can you do to help?
Wear purple on the 30th June, and help spread awareness about baby and infant loss, and also the services that are available to parents in this heartbreaking situation.
We are asking everyone to collect for us, together we can make a difference. If you would like to collect at your work place, around your neighbour or with family and friends, please direct them to this page, or even collect donations which can be given to me to be deposited, or you can donate it here yourself. I encourage everyone to take part in face to face collection, as even though conversations about Babyloss can be hard, it is vital that there is a awareness within the community so that grieving parents have access to all services that are available, including Heartfelt. .
Thank you all in advance for your support and encouragement for this day, as the first of what we hope to make an annual event, I am hoping to reach our first goal of $500 and also learn a lot so I can make the event bigger and better next year.
If we go over our goal and reach $860, we can have a camera engraved with Paisley's name donated to a hospital to use for parents of stillborn or ill babies.

Can you do more? If you have any ideas how you might be able to extend this fundraiser at your workplace, please contact me, I would love to hear them!!
