Our mission is to raise funds to help Seti Tafua, a young rugby player who was seriously injured in a freak accident whilst playing for Northern Suburbs Rugby Club in 2012. On 22nd June, Seti dislocated and fractured his C5 and C6 vertebrae and now faces a long battle to regain mobility and independence. Initially told that he would never walk again, Seti has made remarkable progress and is now walking short distances with the aid of a walking frame. He needs every little bit of support he can get to help fund his rehabilitation and maximise his progress. On October 12 I'll be lining up at Kailua Pier with 1800 other qualifiers to take on the legendary Hawaiian Ironman, arguably the world's toughest single day endurance event. The months of training and the battles I'll face as the Hawaiian lava fields throw intense heat, humidity and ferocious winds at the athletes is nothing compared to what Seti faces for the rest of his life in his battle to walk again. Please support my effort and donate generously to help a warrior walk again.
Great effort Campbell, and a top cause. All the best!
