As part of our campaign to raise awareness of Breast Cancer, and funds for Breast Cancer research, several of our instructors have committed to shaving their heads if we can reach the $5000 by October 5th.
Hannah, Damien, James, Joel and Michael will all shave their heads at the SCMA Open Day on October 5th at the end of the Pink Karate class.
Russell De Lacy of KEMA martial arts in Sydney is one of our biggest supporters, wearing a Pink Gi, a Pink Belt and having Pink hair for all September to raise awareness and funds. He'll also shave his head if we can reach our target.
All funds from this will go to the Garvan Research Foundation.
