It’s time to close our page and thank each and every 871 of you for your support and kind words. Here is a message from Kate and Annabelle. All Will Be Well. Helen x
“As my time at @hope4cancer has now drawn to an end, it is important to me to also bring this funding page to closure. Collectively you have raised in excess of $70,000 for Annabelle & I. We truly could not be any more grateful for your incredible efforts in assisting to save my life, and allowing me to be a parent to my beautiful child for a very long time to come.! ‘My-Cause’ is paid out monthly and I’ll have one more instalment paid out which I’ll in-turn forward to the clinic. After this I’ll be funding the rest of my ongoing health challenge myself. My terminal illness paperwork has been accepted by my Super fund, meaning that I can draw out what’s left of my savings following my previous terminal diagnosis in 2019.
With 90%+ of the cancer now gone - it’s time for me to return to Australia to continue my journey.
This is where the real work begins for me; juggling the many solid roles of motherhood, business owner and cancer fighter. I’ve never been afraid of hard work and that’s exactly what’s ahead of me for the next few months… I will strongly continue on this health journey until I see the letters NED (No Evidence of Disease) on my medical report.

We are on the countdown now for Kate’s return to Australia. Just 8 days left of treatment at Hope 4 Cancer where her daily routine has seen her receive a mind-blowing range of world class modalities including:

We all know if anyone can do it, Kate can, and we will welcome support through this journey. '

Quick update from this week:
Kate had her port-a-cath inserted on Wednesday. and they were able to use it today, Friday, for her IV's. She is a little anxious about Belle seeing it, but we all know the apple doesn't fall far from the tree her, and Belle will be just fine. Especially with a Mummy cuddle.
Belle and I take off on Tuesday and I caught up with her during the week. Many thanks for all the beautiful messages and travel goodies friends have kindly provided. She is really excited about the trip, and Kate assures me she is a seasoned traveler and äll will be well on the plane.
If you follow along on Kate's Instagram @its_not_kate_time you will see that the funding page has been playing on her mind and wants, you to have full transparency over where funds will be used - not that any of us are at all concerned. She never ceases to amaze me with her vulnerability and genuine heart.

Start of Week 3.
Well, the veins held up for the first two weeks of IV’s and now Drs have taken Kate aside to say that realistically, these veins aren’t going to withstand the whole 8-week duration of treatment. The only option from here is to get a port-a-cath put in.
This week Kate will get a port, it will be under a general anesthetic and shouldn’t take more than a few hours.
Always looking for the positive in any situation, Kate has found one - she will now be able to run home IV’s again once back home in Australia ?
Due to your support and generosity, this has all been made possible. An expensive exercise without the health care system we enjoy in Aus.

Thank you for overwhelming support. Here at the clinic in Mexico I’m undergoing up to 10 hours of treatments, therapies and IV’s 6 days a week for the next 7 weeks. Sadly, most of these therapies simply aren’t accessible on Australian shores. These have been proven to save my life once before, I’m ready to prove that this can happen again. #ROUND2 @its_not_kates_time #allwillbewell
