Jasper (my nephew) is a sweet, playful and curious 14 month old boy. He loves his 3 big brothers and his Mum and Dad. Tragically though last week Jasper suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns to his left hand and arm. In places the burns are deep and require skin grafts as well as extensive and painful medical treatment.
Jaspers family live in central Queensland, unfortunately this means traveling to Brisbane (615km+) for treatment as their home town doesn't have a burns unit. Jasper and his Mum, Cindy, must travel on their own, leaving they boys and Eli behind. It's always difficult when a child is sick but I can't imagine how much more challenging it is for Cindy not having the physical and emotional support of Eli.
No doubt this accident will prove to be a financially and emotionally trying time for Jaspers family not to mention exhausting. I'm sure your kind donation will help ease the financial burden of travel and treatment. Furthermore it would help Eli and Cindy see that Jasper has all the medical treatment and physical therapy he will need in the future.
