Imagine not having a choice… not being able to choose where you sleep, where you eat, what you eat or the choice to be simply in a safe environment. This is reality for many Perth people and the numbers are growing.

But together we can make a difference.

You can choose to register and help us raise much-needed funds for the next 12 months or you can simply make a donation. Every bit helps.

Our goal is to raise $250k

Manna provides hope, food and warmth with the assistance of over 200 volunteers because they care. For twenty years we have been providing the homeless and struggling people of Perth with a three course nutritious hot ‘n’ healthy meal, six days a week.

On average we provide 90,000 meals per year for the homeless and struggling people of Perth.

Manna receives no government funding for this program – all funds needed are raised within the local community. Locals helping locals. Unfortunately the number of homeless people are growing and it is vital that we can meet the growing demands on our services.

“Homeless for a Night” is a unique fundraising event where you, your family, friends and your work colleagues can get involved by “sleeping out” to experience what it may be like to be homeless. By attending this event, and fundraising if you wish to, you will be making a huge difference to the lives of others who are less fortunate. You can still be a part of the evening and not sleep out(see below).

Entertainment will be provided by “Balga Senior High School Performing Arts” and the inspirational Phil Walley-Stack. You will hear how Manna’s Hot ‘n’ Healthy meals program has directly impacted the lives of streeties, as we like to call them, as they share their stories and experiences from their time on streets. Bev and John (the founders of Manna) will also be sharing their Manna journey.

By supporting and participating in Homeless for a Night you are making a difference to the lives of those that may not have a choice. You are empowering yourself and others to stand up and make a difference.

SILENT DISCO:

Yes! The Silent Disco is back!!

Whilst the "Homeless for a Night’ sleep out is about experiencing what a night on the street would be like, we thought why not celebrate the fact that we are doing something good for the community with a bit of fun at the end of the evening.

What could be more fun than singing and dancing up a storm to the tunes of Dj Michelle from Dance Floor Djs.

Music will cater to the tastes of both young and old and are guaranteed to get you grooving!

The joy of the silent disco is that only those with headphones on can hear the music, thus others not wishing to take part can turn in for the night without any disruption.
