Tropical Cyclone Lam has severely impacted the Communities of Galiwin'ku, Ramingining, Milingimbi and Gapuwiyak in north-east Arnhem Land. On Galiwin'ku, up to three hundred people are without housing.
ALPA is already collecting bedding donations to assist the residents of the affected communities and will distribute them to those most in need at no cost.
We are seeking donations to support identified needs in the communities in the coming weeks and months ahead.
There is still a long way to go in getting these communities back to normal, with many people in desperate need. Please help us to help Yolngu people rebuild after this disaster.
