This time around I am going about the colour run a little differently. I am going to complete the 5kms backwards! No, not starting from the finish and finishing at the start, I mean facing the wrong direction the entire way! I am going to be raising funds for a very special little boy Dexter.
Dexter is three, and is a cancer survivor. His body is covered in scars, and we’ve nearly lost him a few times, but this little boy is loved by so many. He’s cheeky and determined, patient and loving. He was born at 31 weeks gestation, and was a very sick little boy. Brain damage was detected at 30 days old. He now has severe cerebral palsy and a vision impairment, as a result. He might never independently walk, crawl, sit or speak. Though, with Dexter’s determination, there are no limits.
If this little guy can achieve so much and have such determination I can take on this challenge!
Dexter's family are currently modifying their home to make it more accessible for Dexter. All funds raised will go to assisting them with this project.
