Hi friends
As most of you are aware, my sister Jasmine has what is now Stage 4 metastatic, terminal bowel cancer which is spreading rapidly. Her treatment options have run out in Australia and we desperately need to get her to Germany where she can undergo some different forms of treatment. We hope Germany can extend her time, dare I say, save her life.
The wonderful husband and wife duo, Chris and Abby Fisher of the Cardigan Bar, Sandgate have generously offered to help us run a fundraiser and shall be supplying a pop up bar where all profits will be donated to Jas's treatment fund.
We had locked down the date of Tuesday evening, 24th June, but since we've had such a great response, the adorable and quaint little laneway bar won't be able to accommodate the numbers so we're moving to the Sandgate Town Hall, Seymour Street. This means we can now run with the weekend also, so the new date is Friday, 27th June from 7pm.
DJ Rox Rox will be entertaining us with her incredible chilled mix of classics with an unbeat, modern twist and there will be raffles, silent auctions, and an art show with all pieces up for grabs.
For those who are small business owners, if you are able to donate anything that we could raffle, I would be ever appreciative if you could pm me. Anyone who has any "friends in high places" are also welcome to put those contacts to good use :)

Unfortunately we don't have time to set up a tax deductible function before Jas goes to Germany, so in that sense, your donation is a true gift xo
P.S. Japanese cranes are the theme for the Brisbane fundraiser, as they represent hope. The goal is 1,000 so Jasmine can make one wish (no guesses as to what that will be).
If you are willing and able to make cranes they are being gratefully accepted. They aren't as difficult to make as they look! xo
