Help me raise much needed funds to find a prevention for type 1 Diabetes.
My niece, Skye, was diagnosed at the age of 6 and not only has it been difficult
for the child to understand why she can't eat, drink and do things the same as
her friends, it also impacts her family.
Our goal is to raise $13,500 by October 2008. If we achieve this, not only does
it all go to JDRF for research, D-Buddies will invite my Niece, her Mum and
myself to join in on a fun run with other diabetic families in Honolulu.
Travelling with other diabetic families creates much needed support for big
trips that they rarely experience.
