When it comes to my own mental health I’ve been fortunate enough to find peace in pushing my body past the point I used to consider it’s limit.
For me this started with cycling which definitely changed the course of my life for the better and more recently Jiu Jitsu.
On Sunday 13 March 2022, I will ride solo over 1500km from Lake Crackenback in the NSW Snowy Mountains to the Balter Brewery in Currumbin on QLD's Gold Coast to raise funds for the Fly Program to support our efforts in continuing to break the stigma and statistics around men's mental health.
Commited to providing the resources to assist Australian men to find a release and increase their quality of life, whether directly, or indirectly touched by these threads of mental illness and instituting a new outlet – participation in the natural world as a reprieve from the day-to-day challenges too many men face in our community.
