Over 5 days 14 Wellways staff and community members from the Murrumbidgee are cycling over 550 kilometres through regional NSW, to support local communities who have been impacted by COVID-19, bushfires and ongoing drought. We are promoting connection and supports available, encouraging communities to start the conversations and know where to go for support when needed.
Starting in Wagga Wagga, then cycling to Gundagai, Tumbarumba, Gerogery, Urana and finishing back in Wagga Wagga, we will be holding workshops to get the community involved in suicide prevention and promoting positive mental health.
Money raised will go towards Suicide Prevention activities and training for communities in the Murrumbidgee.
Wellways Australia is a leading national mental health and disability support organisation with services in Queensland, ACT, NSW, Victoria and Tasmania. We work with a diverse range of people, their families and carers to identify needs and goals to build good lives in the community.
