My name is Aline, and my daughter and I have a cat, her name is Mia. We adopted her when she was three months old. She was the last of ten siblings abandoned in the streets in Brazil and brought to the pet shop. We are migrating to Australia. Australia is one of the most restricted countries for bringing pets. It is costly and can take more than seven months to be able to bring the pet. Australia does not accept animals straight from Brazil, and they need to stay in a country that they classify as free of rabies. We want her very much here with us and ask for help. She is at a hotel for pets in Brazil, waiting to fly to the USA. She will need to stay in the USA for the next seven months, doing tests, receiving vaccines, medications and being seen by a local vet that will clear her paper so she can meet us in Australia. Kind Regards, Aline, Yasmin and Mia
