Bali Monkey Rescue Ray Ray

Ray ray is one of our neo natal babies that arrived at the centre when he was one month old with little chance of surviving. We pulled him through last time and god willing pull him through again. Ray Ray having felt a little under the weather, we sought medical examination for RayRay. Despite a dark foreboding we hoped the results would not be too devastating, but our prayers were not answered. Diagnosed with lymphoma, we are now accepting the battle to save RayRay’s life.....
We are now asking support for Ray Ray to cover his ongoing medical costs with the possibility of blood transfusions from one of our donor monkeys to boost his cell count and blood levels.

To do this is a costly procedure quoted by 2 veterinarians that the transfusion procedure alone is AUD250.00 of which he will need two. This excludes the costs of his blood tests and the costs for the donor monkey to undergo compatibility blood tests, medications and transport fees to and from the clinic.

Almost daily we are asked to rescue monkeys from abominable situations in Bali. Each and every life matters and turning them away is simply not an option. Monthly running costs of our centre has soared to $1500.- every month and we are bursting at the seams. We desperately need your support to make sure every monkey is given the chance for a life free from isolation, abuse and neglect.
