My goal is to raise awareness for mental health and to help people with PTSD by walking from the Goldfields Highway BP Truckstop, to the Red Hill Look Out in Kambalda (50kms) with a 10kg pack and my dog Dusty. As well as being a personal challenge, I took the opportunity to help raise funds for the charity Whiskey's Wish.
Whiskey's Wish provides training and dogs as well as support to fully qualify Service Dogs to Veterans, First Responders and Correctional Officers who are diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and other physical and mental disabilities.
