Due to the covid-19 crisis, Morocco is in lockdown procedures to protect the health and safety of the country. This unfortunately means that all argan oil cooperatives are temporarily closed until the crisis is over.
There are 70 women in the Cooperative that youforher works directly with, supplying us with beautiful argan oil, made for you with love. These women are now without an income for many weeks. Many are struggling to provide just the basic life necessities for their families like food, medicine and rent.
We want to support these women during this time, to help sustain them and their families until the Cooperative is allowed to re-open and income can return.
Any donations, even as small as a few dollars, are greatly appreciated. To provide support in the quickest way possible, we will personally collect the funds and direct transfer to the Cooperative to disperse amongst the women according to which families are needing help the most.
In addition to this, we also commit to donating 100% of direct profits from all sales made during the first 2 weeks of April to supporting these women. So even purchasing a bottle of our argan oil (perhaps as a gift to a love one during this time) will also be greatly supporting this cause.
