Inviting all schools in Australia and across the globe to join the Kindness Cash For Kids School to School Fundraiser for fire affected families.
The fires here in Australia have been overwhelming and really beyond words. I have been personally affected as I intensely worried about my aunt, and her family who live on acres in Sussex Inlet, NSW Australia. The fires were also within 1 hour of our community in every direction.
The extent of the devastation is beyond comprehension and now we are moving into the recovery stage. Recovery, based on my 25 years of working with trauma, will take time.
INVITING ALL SCHOOLs in Australia and across the globe to join the Kindness Cash For Kids School to School Fundraiser for fire-affected families.
The idea is that when a school joins the fundraiser, students do a job at home, and get paid a gold coin.
Then in an act of kindness, they donate the gold coin to the fundraiser and we at will be talking to schools in the fire-affected areas, to identify kids and families that need help.
We intend for donations to be deposited directly into the bank account of those families (if they are shared with us) for them to spend in their own fire-affected communities.
Kindness Cash For Kids School to School Fundraiser provides a way for people to be kind on purpose at each step of the fundraiser.
