About

A casual open water swim to raise some funds for communities impacted by the fires across Australia.

Sunday 12th January.

Starting at City Beach South groyne for an 8am start, meet on the lawn between the surf club and Clancy’s at 7.30am before we walk down. Look for the Scotch College marquees.

Swim as far as you wish!
To the North Groyne and back =1km
To the Floreat Tower and back =2km
To the Floreat Drain and back = 3.2km

You should be aware that this is a charity event and the organisers have donated their time and effort to make it happen. There are obvious risks in participating in any recreational activity including open water swimming. These risks relate to your own physical condition and external factors such as weather, sea conditions, stingers and other marine life. The event will not be supported by any form of water safety or first aid support and does not carry any form of insurance. You therefore participate at your own risk and are responsible for your own physical condition.
