Having had my own battles with depression and suicidal thoughts, and watching my partner's brother Paul Strange battle with depression which lead to a devastating outcome has changed our lives forever. my journey through my depression has been a long one, but to watch the destruction of a family after a loved one suicides is heartbreaking, something I hope I never have to witness again in my life.

Although Paul didn't suffer in silence and was dealing with his illness head-on, I myself suffered in silence for most of my adult life, which is why I want to reach out to other men who feel the need to suffer in silence because they feel ashamed, embarrassed, scared or whatever because of the stigma around men and mental health issues.

The suffering, the unnecessary deaths have gone on for too long, its time for a change. which brings to PEDAL 2 PERTH FOR PAUL and ACFC A CHANCE FOR CHANGE

PEDAL 2 PERTH 4 PAUL was started out of love and the passion to try and target men suffering in silence, show them it is ok not to be ok and that SPEAKING UP IS MANNING UP, and with the blessing of the strange family I dedicate the 300km cycle over 3 days to their very much loved and missed Paul Strange
