UPDATE.

We have now reached the target to purchase the land (yay!...a huge thank you) and now all ongoing donations will go towards the establishment of the One Heart Village in Uganda and the care of orphaned and vulnerable children in the local billages around the property. One Heart aims to provide an education, homes, and most importantly love to the most disadvantaged and overlooked children in society. 

ORIGINAL TARGET

An opportunity has come up where One Heart can purchase 10.5 acres of land near the main town of Bugiri in Uganda where we are working at a very low cost of $15,000AUD. 

If we can grab this now, we can use it for farming and fisheries immediately to generate income on 8 acres, and then longer term start establishing another one heart village on the remaining 2.5 acres for another 100 orphaned children (50 of which we are already caring for) 

Only catch is they need to sell it immediately and One Heart unfortunately doesn’t have a reserve budget for it!… So I am trying to see if we can do a small funds capital raise with a few people/businesses that may be willing to commit to this long-term impact project.
