Morgan has pathological myopia, and is almost legally blind. She also suffers from ADHD, scoliosis, depression, anxiety, irritable bowel syndrome, cyclical vomiting, and kaifosis and lordosis of the spine.

Obviously this adds up to a lot of medical bills - glasses that work for Morgan cost over $400 each, and she also needs regular physiotherapy, gastroenterologist visits, psychology, and a long list of medications.

I'm Morgan's mother, and I'm a single mum who doesn't receive any child support, and also suffering from my own chronic illnesses.

For a long time now, Morgan and I have both been unemployed - not for want of trying! Currently I am applying for at least a hundred jobs a month, and despite having made it to a few interviews, have had no luck gaining employment.

With both of us trying to survive on welfare, things have been very tough. Morgan's in need of new glasses at the moment, and we both are desperately in need of doctor and dental visits, and gastroenterologist appointments which are very expensive.
